An article in yesterday'seditions of The Sun incorrectly stated the deadline for enrolling in a plan to defer part of BGE's 50 percent rate increase. Consumers can sign up for the plan through June 30 by calling 888-234-0505 or through the company's Web site, www.bge.com.

Because of incorrect information from state police, an article in Thursday's Maryland section misidentified the woman whose 2007 Nissan fatally struck a motorcyclist in Woodbine. State police said the driver of the car was Melinda Elizabeth Peugh, 32, of Sykesville.

The Sun regrets the errors.
