Check out "Imagination Bethesda," the town's 13th annual children's festival, Saturday. A fun and cultural event for the younger set, the festival includes dance by Tappers With Attitude and the Joy of Motion, theatrical shows from Adventure Theatre, hands-on arts and crafts activities and lots more.

WORKS OF ART

Admire artwork and the outdoors at this year's "Art in the Park" in Westminster Saturday. Carroll County Arts Council hosts the event, which includes local and regional artists, along with a "Starving Artists' Fence" for young and emerging artists who would like feedback on their work. There will also be hands-on art activities for kids and live music from local musicians.

SUMMER CONCERTS

Enjoy outdoor concerts all summer at Lurman Woodland Theatre's Summer Concert Series, which begins this weekend. On Saturday, catch the Catonsville High School Steel Drum Band, which is the only high school steel drum band in Maryland. On Sunday, Tommy Edward hits the stage as Sir Rod Stewart in a tribute to the singer. Concerts take place every weekend through August.
