Rev up your motorcycle engine for a good cause this weekend for the Ride Across Maryland. The two-day event offers six departure points for participants as they hit the scenic routes to Ocean City. Cars are welcome as well, and all proceeds will be donated to the fight against breast cancer. The ride begins Saturday. Registration is $30, and riders must raise at least $70 from sponsors to participate. The main departure point is The Mall in Columbia, 10300 Little Patuxent Parkway, where participants will gather from 7 a.m.-9 a.m. before riding to Francis Scott Key Family Resort, U.S. 50 at Elm Street in Ocean City. Other departure points in Maryland are Gaithersburg, Darlington, Fort Washington and Cambridge. A group will also depart from Gettysburg, Pa.
