Poll results
Last week we asked if the Orioles were going to fire manager Sam Perlozzo, who should be his replacement? More than 2,500 voted, and more than half are longing for the past. Davey Johnson, who guided the team to its last winning season in 1997, lapped the crowd. The results:
Davey Johnson: 50.8 percent (1,280 votes)
Joe Girardi: 34.3 percent (864 votes)
Dusty Baker: 8.3 percent (210 votes)
Ken Macha: 3.5 percent (89 votes)
Art Howe: 3.0 percent (75 votes).

Hack of the week
Has interleague play lost its appeal, or do you still find it intriguing?
Ten years ago it was fresh . Lately it's lost its appeal. What's especially lame is the attempt to fabricate a rivalry between the Nationals and Orioles.
