Breast and cervical screenings -- Franklin Square Hospital Center, 9000 Franklin Square Drive / Screenings for women ages 40 to 65 who meet income requirements. Free. 443-777-8138.

Stroke prevention and osteoporosis screenings -- Life Line Screening offers ultrasound and bone-density screenings to gauge your risk of a stroke or osteoporosis, at various locations. Support groups
