Where's The Lizard?

Now that everyone in America has seen Spider-Man 3 (and judging by the box office, that's not too much of an exaggeration), it's time to demand an answer to the question that's been on every Spidey fan's mind since Peter Parker and the gang first showed up on movie screens in 2002.

Where's The Lizard?

Where's the human reptile who bedeviled Spider-Man on the comic book pages for years? Where's that violently malevolent alter-ego of good-guy scientist Curt Connors, Parker's science professor? Where's the big transformation scene, where we get to watch Dr. Connors morph from a one-armed scientist to a scaly green guy with a killer tail?

Hey, Spider-Man 3 already introduced a new villain (Thomas Haden Church's Sandman) and a new girlfriend (Bryce Dallas Howard's Gwen Stacy), as well as a reconstituted Green Goblin (James Franco).

Where's The Lizard?

I know one guy who sure would be glad to see him. That would be actor Dylan Baker, who's already gotten to play Connors in Spidey 2 and 3, but has only amassed a few minutes' screen time.

It's about time the scaly green guy got his due.
