The senior combined for nine goals and four assists last week in victories over Annapolis and Westminster in the Class 4A-3A East regional final and the Class 4A-3A state semifinal games.
With 63 goals and 29 assists this year, Lusby leads the defending 4A-3A state champions into their eighth state final in the past nine years today against Wootton (18-0) of Montgomery County. The Falcons, won titles in 1999, 2004 and last year, and were runners-up in 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2005 - all to Dulaney.
Lusby scored five goals and assisted on three others as the 10th-ranked Falcons routed Annapolis, 14-3, onThursday.
Two days later, Loyola-bound Lusby contributed four goals and an assist to help the Falcons improve to 17-2 with the win over Westminster.

Playing No. 1 singles, the junior standout enjoyed a fine regular season that has carried into the postseason with titles at the Baltimore County Championships and District VI region.
In the county championship, Charchalis outlasted defending champ Lolita Kachay of Pikesville to avenge her only loss of the season. After dropping the first set, 3-6, Charchalis took the second set, 6-3. After losing the first game in the deciding set, she came back to win, 5-1, with Kachay retiring in a match that lasted 2 1/2 hours.
Over the weekend, Charchalis dominated the region, capping the tournament with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Carver A&T's Gabriella Biondo to advance to this week's state tournament at the University of Maryland with a 19-1 season mark.
