County tennis championship for Atholton. Trey Allen and Sam Stern teamed to win the boys doubles title, and John Healey and Julia Southerland paired to win the mixed doubles crown to lead the way for the Raiders on Saturday. 2

Goals allowed by the Centennial boys lacrosse team in its 6-2 win over Wilde Lake in the Class 3A-2A South region quarterfinal game on Saturday. Eric Joerdens made nine saves in the win.

Consecutive county girls lacrosse championships won by Mount Hebron, which came away with a 17-7 win over Glenelg last Wednesday. Junior Alicia Krause led the No. 1 Vikings with four goals and six assists.

Regular-season records for the Centennial boys tennis team and the River Hill girls team. Behind No. 1 singles player Ryan Lissner, the Eagles defeated Atholton, 3-2, in the county dual meet championship on May 7. The River Hill girls defeated Atholton, 4-1.

Seconds between goals by Mount Hebron's Marc Saxton and Harrison Chaires in the final two minutes of regulation in the Vikings' championship game against Centennial last Tuesday. Chaires' goal, coming with 1:36 left, tied the game at 8, and the Vikings went on to win the title, 9-8, on Justin Martinelli's goal in double overtime.
