On May 8, 2007, JAMES G. MEGEE, SR., age 87, of Princess Anne, formerly of Baltimore, died Tuesday, at home surrounded by his wife and family. Born on March 2, 1940 in Baltimore, he was a son of the late George Megee and Patricia Leonard Megee. Jim recently retired from Food Lion in Princess Anne and had worked at the A & P Grocery Store in Baltimore for about 23 years. He had also formerly owned and operated a body shop in Baltimore. Jim was a lifetime member of Essex Elks Lodge, enjoyed working on cars and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Doris A. Megee of Princess Anne; five children, James Megee, Jr. and George Megee, both of Essex, Butch Lehman of Princess Anne, Patricia Megee of Parkville and Michael Megee of Princess Anne; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, Jayden Gibson; a sister, Elaine Pinkard and her husband, John of Essex and many nieces and nephews. A son, John Megee, preceded him in death. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, at 1 pm at Towson United Methodist Church in Towson. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
