`Record' releases its Top 100 Women list

Deborah Stallings of Columbia-based HR Anew Inc. and a member of the board of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce, has been listed in The Daily Record's 12th annual list of Maryland's Top 100 Women.

Chamber members included in this year's Top 100 list are Jamie Costa and Jessica K. Giandomenico, both of United Way of Central Maryland; Judge Diane O. Leasure, Circuit Court of Howard County; Mary Ann Scully of Howard Bank; and Catherine M. Ward of Corporate Office Properties Trust.

A panel of business professionals and past winners from around the state selected the winners, who are honored for professional and volunteer accomplishments, and mentoring.

Retailers Association honors detective

Detective Christine Adams of the Howard County Police Department will be an honoree today at the eighth annual Law Enforcement Awards Program sponsored by the Maryland Retailers Association.

She was chosen for her investigation of a credit card fraud ring.

MRA is a statewide organization with more than 600 members.

The awards recognizes the accomplishments of officers whose work affects the daily lives of merchants.
