Schools urge parents to complete survey

The Howard County Public School System urges parents to complete its Parent School Environment Survey by Friday.

The survey, which takes about 10 minutes to complete, asks parents to evaluate the social, learning and physical environment in their child's school; discipline policies and actions; and diversity and commonality. One survey can be completed for each child attending a Howard County school.

The survey is designed to help administrators and staff members improve the schools and to ensure that each school provides a safe, nurturing environment that values diversity and commonality for its students.

To obtain the survey, go to www.hcpss.org, click on the link for survey and enter the user name and password provided by the school. Or e-mail Leilani Lucca at leilani_lucca@hcpss.org.

Information: 410-313-6682.
