Multi-Properties Inc. has acquired King's Manor Apartments in Susquehanna Township. It is the Baltimore-based real estate investment firm's third apartment complex purchase in the Harrisburg area.

Awards

The Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland presented its 2007 Smith's Leadership and Excellence Awards. Legg Mason Inc. received the Business Excellence Award; Under Armour Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Kevin Plank the Leadership Excellence Award; and Beth Perlman of Constellation Energy the individual award for Leaders for the Digital Economy Award.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Mid-Atlantic, based in Columbia, received the Five Star Circle of Excellence Award at the international conference of the Cartus Broker Network.

New clients

WebAdvantage.net, a Havre de Grace search marketing and advertising firm, was retained by Decorative Products Source Inc.

Relocations

Baltimore law firm Whiteford, Taylor & Preston opened an expanded Howard County office in 50 Corporate Center at 10500 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia.
