Quaker Flea Market opens tomorrow

The Quaker Flea Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Annapolis Friends Meeting, 351 Dubois Road, Annapolis.

There will be household treasures, furniture, plants, food and baked goods for sale.

St. Andrew's to hold yard sale tomorrow

St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 4 Wallace Manor Road, Edgewater, will hold its weekly indoor yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow.

Spaces are $15 for a 10-by-10 foot space, and $5 for tables.

Dixieland concert set at St. Martin's

St. Martin's Lutheran Church will present a Dixieland afternoon at 3 p.m. Sunday in the fellowship hall at 1120 Spa Road, Annapolis.

This concert will feature pianist Erik Apland, clarinetist Henning Hohne and string bassist James Fowler.

The suggested donation is $8.

Mother-daughter banquet is May 12

Glen Lutheran Church will hold its annual mother-daughter banquet from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. May 12 at 106 Carroll Road, Glen Burnie.

There will be pit beef, smoked turkey, pulled-pork, desserts and beverages, live music performance, crafts for the kids, door prizes, and more.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $7.50 for children ages 6-12, and free for children younger than 5.

Conference of Hope, Healing is May 19

The Anne Arundel County Chapter of the Bereaved Parents of the USA will present its annual Conference of Hope and Healing from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 19 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 301 Rowe Blvd., Annapolis.

This conference will be a day of sharing and hope for individuals grieving the death of a child.

Registration is required by Sunday.

The cost is $25 for adults and $10 for children.

Vendors needed for Strawberry Festival

Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 7606 Quarterfield Road, Glen Burnie, will hold its annual Strawberry Festival and Flea Market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 26.

There will be fresh strawberries, vanilla ice cream, sandwiches, craft tables, baked goods, raffles and a yard sale.

Vendors and crafters are needed. The cost is $15 for space with a table and reservations are required.
