Jays women top Towson

Johns Hopkins' Sam Schrum scored four goals as the visiting Blue Jays (10-6) women earned a 15-9 victory over Towson yesterday.

Playing her final college game, Shannon Witzel scored three times for Towson (6-9) to tie Ruth Gutridge for the school's all-time goals record at 208.

State men

Johns Hopkins 15, Mount St. Mary's 3 -- Paul Rabil's three goals and three assists helped the Blue Jays (8-4) beat the host Mountaineers (4-10).
