Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Robbery -- A 33-year-old woman was walking in the 800 block of N. Charles St. about 9:30 p.m. Sunday when two younger females stole her purse containing credit cards, keys and a cell phone.

Theft -- Electronics items valued at $5,000 were stolen about 3 p.m. Sunday from a display booth at the Baltimore Convention Center.

Theft -- A 22-year-old woman was walking in the 200 block of W. Pratt St. on Sunday afternoon when she was stopped by a young man on a bike who asked her out for a date. When the woman declined, he snatched a cell phone she had clipped to her jeans and pedaled away.


Assault -- Police were seeking four teenage males who attacked a Loyola College student as he walked in the 5300 block of York Road about 8:20 p.m. Sunday and struck him over the head with a rock. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital.


Arrest -- Simon Peter King, 32, of the first block of Birwood Court in Pasadena, was arrested Sunday in the first block of Bar Harbor Road by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with raping a woman in the 3700 block of 10th St. in Brooklyn on March 10.

Assault -- A 38-year-old man was leaving a carryout in the first block of E. Cross St. about 2 a.m. Saturday when he was attacked by several males, fell to the pavement and fractured an ankle. He was treated at Harbor Hospital.

Baltimore County


Robbery -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a 44-year-old man of his keys and a wallet containing $230 in the 100 block of W. Ridgely Road about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

White Marsh

Burglary -- A red-and-black all-terrain vehicle was stolen from a shed in the 5100 block of Thomas Ave. between Thursday and Sunday.


Burglary -- More than $4,000 worth of cigarettes were stolen over the weekend from Fork Citgo station in the 12500 block of Harford Road by someone who entered through the front door.


Burglary -- Someone broke into Royal Farms in the 2300 block of Smith Ave. through a door early Sunday and removed $100 from a cash register.
