PAUL FINCH, 75 News service writer

Paul Finch, who directed coverage of the 1968 Mexico City Olympics and the Tlatelolco massacre for the Associated Press, has died in Reno, where he started his career more than 50 years ago.

Mr. Finch had a stroke two weeks ago and died Tuesday, said his wife, Joyce.

Mr. Finch joined the AP in 1956. He worked in Reno, San Francisco, Sacramento, New York, Caracas and Mexico City.
