Foundation chapter selects Siegel

Suellen Siegel, a Howard County resident since 1969 who lives in Ellicott City, has been selected as development coordinator for the Maryland/Southern Delaware chapter of The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.

Siegel has held marketing positions at BGE, was community events coordinator for The Mall in Columbia and she organized events for the American Heart Association.

She was executive director of the Maryland chapter of Kids Voting, a national educational program training the next generation of voters, and she served on the Governor's Energy Task Force.

Siegel is active in Leadership Howard County and serves on the board of Columbia Pro Cantare and on the signature event committee of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce. She is active in the Howard County League of Women Voters.

Koors appointed to Red Cross post

Lenore Koors of Cockeysville has been appointed district manager for Howard, Carroll, Anne Arundel and Harford counties for the Red Cross of Central Maryland.

Koors, who was named to the position this year, is working with municipalities and members of the community to increase public awareness of the organization and improve communication between the Red Cross, its volunteers and emergency responders.

She is also responsible for financial development in the four counties.

Koors was volunteer coordinator and development officer for the Red Cross of Central Maryland.
