Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Western

Shooting -- A 17-year-old boy was shot in the hand about 4 a.m. yesterday in the 1300 block of N. Gilmor St. and was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. His condition and the details of the shooting were not available.

Burglary -- Someone broke into Northwest Deli in the 2300 block of Reisterstown Road Tuesday night and removed $180 from a cash register.

Robbery -- Police were seeking a gunman who robbed a man of $2, several pieces of jewelry and a cell phone about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday. The victim was standing at a bus stop in the 500 block of N. Schroeder St. The gunman drove off in a white Cadillac.

Southern

Theft -- A portable compact disc player valued at $50 was stolen Tuesday from a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina parked in the 400 block of Grindall St.

Burglary -- While the occupant of a house in the 900 block of Light St. was sleeping early Tuesday, someone entered the dwelling through an unlocked door and stole a purse containing a wallet, credit cards and a bank card -- all valued at $400.

Southeastern

Theft -- Video games and their accessories were stolen Tuesday from a 2004 Ford Taurus parked in the 2000 block of E. North Ave.

Baltimore County

Essex

Burglary -- A set of drums, an amplifier and drum pedals -- all valued at $2,400 -- were stolen from an unlocked shed in the 100 block of Riverside Drive between Monday and Wednesday.

Burglary -- Video games valued at $180 were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the first block of Oak Grove Road by someone who entered through the front door.

Burglary -- Someone broke into a trailer parked in the 9400 block of Pulaski Highway Tuesday or Wednesday and stole a grass trimmer valued at $325.

Cockeysville

Theft -- Copper piping valued at $2,000 was stolen from a house under construction in the 12200 block of Roundwood Road between April 13 and Monday.

Burglary -- At least $50 in coins was stolen Tuesday night or early Wednesday from a cash register at J.J.'s Everyday Cafe in the 2100 block of York Road by someone who entered through a rear door.

Pikesville

Burglary -- A strongbox containing jewelry valued at more than $100 was stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 700 block of Mount Wilson Lane.

Burglary -- Video games of unknown value were stolen Wednesday from a house in the first block of Woodholme Ave. by someone who entered through an unlocked door.
