Robert Lemieux, who as chairman of the communications department at McDaniel College in Westminster should have better things to do, notes that today, April 19, and yesterday are special dates in the annals of Baltimore weather trivia. They share the oldest temperature extremes for the city - 111 years with neither a record high nor low. The long-standing records for the 18th are 94 (1896) and 26 (1875). The extremes for the 19th are 93 (1896) and 24 (1875). Who knew? Lemieux!
