Kenny Wayne Shepherd

April 19, 2007|By GENA R. CHATTIN

Louisiana-born Kenny Wayne Shepherd first took up blues guitar in his early childhood, and he hit the stage not long after. His influences range from Muddy Waters to Slash of Guns n' Roses fame. Now this blues prodigy is all grown up, and he performs tomorrow in Baltimore. Shepherd's latest effort is the CD/DVD combo 10 Days Out, which features Shepherd alongside some of the greatest living blues legends (some of whom passed away between recording and the album's release). Doors open at 7 p.m. tomorrow at Rams Head Live, 20 Market Place. Tickets are $25 for this all ages show. Call 410-244-1131 or go to ramsheadlive.com.
