Special walk -- Special Olympics Howard County will sponsor its sixth Inspiration Walk, a fundraiser for the athletic programs for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, at 9:15 a.m. Saturday. Participants can choose between a 2.3-mile walk around Centennial Lake and a 1-mile family fun walk. Walkers who bring at least $25 in pledges get a T-shirt and are entered into a random prize drawing; walkers receive an additional ticket to the drawing for each $100 in pledges. Those who raise $500 receive a polo shirt; those who raise $1,000 receive a limited-edition jacket. Water and snacks will be provided. Orioles Brian Roberts and Jay Gibbons will be on hand. An Olympic Village, with activities for participants, is planned. Registration is to begin at 8 a.m. County Executive Ken Ulman and state Sen. James N.
