Two 15-year-olds have been arrested in a string of burglaries over the past few weeks at an Abingdon church, police said.

The teens, also of Abingdon, confirmed their involvement in the burglaries at New Covenant Presbyterian Church after they were caught burglarizing a home, said Sgt. Christina Presberry, a spokeswoman for the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

The juveniles, whose names were withheld, were each charged with three counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of malicious destruction of property and two counts of theft. They were released pending arraignment as juveniles. The robberies were reported March 25, April 2 and April 7.
