Police probe `suspicious' death of Bel Air man

Anne Arundel County homicide detectives are investigating the death of a Bel Air man who suffered "suspicious trauma to his body," then crashed his truck into a tree in Pumphrey yesterday.

Larry Tyrone Griffin, 40, of the 800 Block of Cashew Court was found dead in his Chevrolet truck about 7:10 a.m. in the 300 block of Key Ave.

Police would not say how he was injured before the accident. Griffin's body was taken to the medical examiner's office, where it will undergo an autopsy.
