`Siddown' will sit well with kids

Theater review

The title of the latest Theatre Project children's show, Siddown, presumably stems from the fact that the show's two performers do just that -- repeatedly.

First, Gregory Maupin and Abigail Bailey Maupin (Gregory's wife) sit in two small, folding chairs facing the audience. Then they get up and angle the chairs in another direction and "siddown" again, and then they do it a third time and a fourth.

Siddown continues through April 22 at the Theatre Project, 45 W. Preston St. $11-$16. 410-752-8558 or theatreproject.org
