St. Mary's rides streak to 14-6 win

The St. Mary's men's lacrosse team used a 10-1 run to defeat host Catholic, 14-6, last night.

Ryan Alexander scored five goals for the Seahawks (9-4, 5-2 Capital Athletic Conference), and teammate Stu Wright scored three.


Gettysburg 21, McDaniel 4 -- Krissy Browning scored five goals as the Bullets (11-1, 6-0 Centennial Conference) dominated the host Green Terror (8-3, 2-3).

Salisbury 20, St. Mary's 7 -- The Sea Gulls (12-1, 5-0 CAC) beat the visiting Seahawks (7-6, 3-2), forcing 13 St. Mary's turnovers. Jessica Chmielewski scored four goals for Salisbury.

Goucher 15, York 7 -- Emily Blatter's six goals powered the visiting Gophers (5-6, 3-2 CAC) past the Spartans (4-7, 2-5).

Notre Dame 17, Lancaster Bible 0 -- The visiting Gators (8-1, 1-0 Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference) defeated the Chargers, who failed to record a shot.
