Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Southern

Shootings -- Police respondng to a report of multiple shots fired in the 900 block of W. Lombard St. about 1 p.m. yesterday found two men who had been shot. Both victims were taken by ambulances to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where one was treated for a bullet wound to a leg and the other for a wound to the back.

Victim named -- Police have identified Eric Zurawski, 39, whose address was not available, as the man stabbed in the throat about 5:15 p.m. Sunday by an unknown assailant during a confrontation in the 1300 block of W. Ostend St. Zurawaski died later at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Metro Crime Stoppers, 410-276-8888, is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.

Shooting -- A man, 23, was reported in good condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after someone shot him in the abdomen in the 1300 block of W. Pratt St. about 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Central

Carjacking -- The driver of a 2003 Lincoln stopped in the 500 block of E. Preston St. about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday to avoid hitting a man who stepped in front of her car when a second man, armed with a handgun, forced the woman, 19, from her car. Both men then sped off in the car with tags ICE X80.

Shooting -- Police continue to seek the man who shot a boy, 16, in the chest and lower back about 3 a.m. Monday during a robbery while the victim was walking up the stairway of an apartment building in the 2400 block of Callow Ave. The gunman shot the youth before stealing a cell phone and $50. The victim, who was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, was expected to survive.

Western

Robbery -- A driver for Yellow Cab was stopped in the 100 block of N. Poppleton St. about 4:30 p.m. Sunday when a man asked him if he had change for a $100 bill. Before the cabbie could comply, the man implied he was armed with a gun and robbed the driver of $80.

Assault -- A man was walking in the 1200 block of Whitelock St. about 8:15 p.m. Sunday when he was stopped by a man who asked for change. When the man said he had none, the assailant stabbed him in the arm and leg. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Baltimore County

Franklin

Robbery/arrests -- A boy, 16, was walking in the 12000 block of Reisterstown Road about 7:30 p.m. Sunday when he was assaulted by two men, one of whom he knew, who robbed him of money and jewelry. A short time later, police arrested Christopher S. Harris, 20, of South Saffron Court in Reisterstown, and Brandon B. Eveline, 23, of the 5200 block of Kenilworth Ave. in Baltimore, and charged each with assault and robbery.
