Canton, Ohio -- The Baltimore Blackbirds fell to 0-5 last night, failing to score on offense in a 38-2 loss to the Canton Legends in an American Indoor Football Association game.

The Blackbirds have been outscored 303-67 in their five defeats.

The Legends (5-2), defending champions of the AIFA, intercepted five passes, two of which were returned for touchdowns by Jo Jo Polk and Roosevelt Benjamin.

The Blackbirds' only score came on a safety that was awarded when the Legends were penalized for holding in the end zone.

Note -- The Blackbirds hired former Raven Marques Ogden as an assistant coach. Ogden, the brother of Ravens star offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden, sat out the 2006 NFL season. He also has been with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills organizations.
