Titus scores seven goals in Salisbury's 17-3 win

Greg Titus scored seven goals and added two assists to lead the Salisbury men's lacrosse team to a 17-3 win yesterday over visiting Mary Washington.

The Sea Gulls remained undefeated, improving their record to 12-0 overall and 6-0 in the Capital Athletic Conference. The Eagles fell to 4-7 and 2-4 in the conference.

Villa Julie 13, York 4 -- The visiting Mustangs (8-2, 6-0 CAC) took 39 shots in a win over the Spartans (2-6, 1-3). Matthew Miller led nine scorers for Villa Julie with three goals.


UMBC 15, American 9 -- The Retrievers (4-7) scored eight first-half goals to defeat the visiting Eagles (5-6). Jen Kasper led UMBC with six points (4 goals, 2 assists).

St. Mary's 17, Marymount 10 -- The host Seahawks (6-5, 3-1 CAC) had five players earn three or more points to defeat the Saints (1-8, 0-4). Kelsey Branch scored two goals and had four assists to lead St. Mary's.

Notre Dame 16, Shenandoah 4 -- The Gators (7-1) took a 9-1 halftime lead to defeat the host Hornets (4-9).
