On March 29, 2007, MELVIN R. COWAN beloved fiance' of Thelma Sue Hamrick, devoted father of Connie Bane and Ricky Cowan, stepfather of Jeffrey and Paul Hamrick and Michelle Lloyd, loving son of the late Erma and Melvin Cowan, dear brother of Ethel Parker, Dolores Havice and the late Leslie E. Cowan. Also survived by ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday, 1 P.M. Visiting hours Monday and Tuesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
