The Blackbirds

The lowdown -- Starting Saturday, is your first chance to see the Baltimore Blackbirds indoor football team at 1st Mariner Arena. The team, a member of the American Indoor Football Association, will play five games at the arena through June. They meet the Carolina Speed tomorrow night.

If you go -- The game starts at 7 p.m. Ticket prices vary. The arena is at 201 W. Baltimore St. Call 410-547-SEAT or go to tick etmaster.com.

On the farm

The lowdown -- Clark's Elioak Farm is open for business starting Saturday for hayrides and pony rides and a petting zoo. Feed horses, ducks, chickens, bunnies and turtles.

If you go -- Farm hours, starting Saturday, are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays. The farm is at 10500 Route 108 in Ellicott City. Call 410-730-4049 or go to clarklandfarm.com.

See Annapolis

The lowdown -- Walking tours of Annapolis return Sunday. The 90-minute Colonial Stroll covers the historic district and Naval Academy. The longer Three Centuries Walking Tour covers mostly the same ground plus indoor tours of the State House and Naval Academy.

If you go -- The Colonial Stroll departs at 10:30 a.m. daily from the Annapolis Visitor Center at 44 Calvert St. Tickets are $12 for adults and $4 for children 3-11. The Three Centuries Walking Tour leaves at 10:30 a.m. daily from History Quest at 99 Main St. and at 1:30 p.m. from the information booth at the city dock, 1 Dock St. Tickets for this tour are $14 for adults and $4 for children ages 3-11.
