Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Southwestern

Body found -- A badly decomposed body was found by a passer-by yesterday in a wooded area off the 3300 block of N. Fraklintown Road in Leakin Park. The death was being investigated as suspicious, pending an autopsy. Because of the condition, its gender had not been determined, police said.

Northeastern

Shooting/stabbing -- A 17-year-old was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital after he was shot in the back and leg and stabbed in the neck and back by two men in the 2700 block of St. Lo Drive in Clifton Park about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Central

Assault -- Downtown Partnership public safety guide Nick Anderson, 20, was asking a homeless man sleeping on a bench in the 100 block of S. Charles St. to leave about noon Sunday when the 55-year-old struck him in the face and spat on him. A warrant for the man's arrest was being requested.

Northwestern

Arrest -- Officer Charles Davies was patrolling the 3300 block of Walbrook Ave. about 5 p.m. Sunday when he observed a 1993 Mercury that had been reported stolen March 11 in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. Arrested and charged with auto theft was James Irving, 44, of no fixed address.

Arrests -- Robert McKnight, 28, of the first block of N. Potomac St. and James Royall, 24, of the 3000 block of E. Baltimore St., were arrested yesterday at their homes on warrants charging them with the armed robbery March 6 of a man in the first block of N. Ellwood Ave.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn

Arrest -- Stepping outside the Windsor Mill Inn in the 7200 block of Windsor Mill Road about 3 a.m. Sunday, a man saw his car being driven away, with his 9-year-old son asleep in the back seat. Moments later, police spotted the car swerving on a nearby street and stopped it. Arrested and charged with auto theft, kidnapping and driving while intoxicated was Delvin C. Smith, 28, of the 3700 block of W. Cold Spring Lane. The child was unharmed.

White Marsh

Burglary -- A shotgun, two rifles, a TV, two telephones, a computer, fax machine and digital video disc player -- together valued at $10,130 -- were stolen from a house in the 11400 block of Belair Road between Feb. 17 and Sunday.
