It's been years since I've worn a slip, but I remember the burden of keeping the lace-hemmed undergarment from showing beneath my itchy dress.
Thank goodness those days are gone. Not only do I eschew the practice of slip-wearing, but apparently it's not a problem anymore if your slip is showing. In fact, if done right, it actually looks pretty cool.
