Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Southern

Stolen vehicle -- While a man was using the restroom at a service station in the 1800 block of Washington Blvd. about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, someone drove off in his silver 1998 Ford Escort with tags 8CP Z38.

Western

Stolen vehicle -- A white 1999 Honda Civic with tags 2AN R62 was stolen Thursday in the 1900 block of W. Mulberry St.

Assault -- Police were seeking several males who attacked an 18-year-old man Tuesday night in the 1700 block of Baker St. and kicked him in the head and face. The victim was reported in serious condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Anyone with information was asked to call the district detective unit at 410-396-2477.

Central

Burglary -- A digital camera valued at $250 was stolen Monday from Martick's Restaurant Francais in the 200 block of W. Mulberry St. by someone who entered after breaking a pane of glass.

Theft -- A laptop computer valued at $2,600 was stolen Wednesday from a 2005 Ford parked in a garage in the 100 block of S. Eutaw St.

Eastern

Arrest -- Eric Griffin, 27, of no fixed address, was arrested Tuesday in the 800 block of Glen Eagles Court in Towson by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on warrants charging him with two counts of attempted murder and handgun offenses. Griffin is charged with shooting Victor Couther, 18, and Darell Woodford, 26, in the 1600 block of N. Durham St. on Jan. 30.

Southeastern

Theft -- A laptop computer and digital camera were stolen Wednesday from a 1998 Toyota 4-Runner parked in a garage in the 700 block of Aliceanna St.

Northern

Robbery try/assault -- A 48-year-old man was walking in the 2200 block of N. Howard St. about 1 a.m. Wednesday when three men, one with a handgun, demanded his money. When the victim said he had none, the gunman struck him with the weapon before all three fled. Medics treated the victim at the scene for a minor injury.

Baltimore County

White Marsh

Burglary -- Someone entered a house in the 8200 block of Pulaski Highway through the front door Tuesday and removed a wallet containing cash and a bank card from a jacket.

Burglary -- An empty 20-gallon fish tank valued at $100 was stolen Wednesday from the patio of a house in the 8500 block of Heathrow Court.

Burglary -- A laptop computer and TV were stolen Wednesday or Thursday from an office at Mid Atlantic Medical in the 9100 block of Philadelphia Road by someone who entered after breaking a window. The property was valued at $2,000.

Rape -- A 23-year-old woman told police Tuesday that she had been standing at a bus stop in the 8400 block of Honeygo Blvd. about 8 a.m. Saturday when a man armed with a knife forced her behind a nearby gas station and raped her.

North Point

Burglary -- At least $2,000 was stolen Wednesday by someone who broke into a house in the 2900 block of Sparrows Point Road.
