Delaware: Fatal collision

Lutherville man, two others killed

A Lutherville man was killed in car crash in Delaware on Saturday night that also claimed the lives of two others, Delaware State Police said yesterday.

Theophanis Dymiotis, 41, of the 800 block of Round Top Court was driving south on Route 301 nearing the Maryland border about 11 p.m. when his Toyota Echo was struck by a northbound Toyota Camry whose driver had crossed the center line to pass a tractor-trailer, police said.

Authorities were still trying to identify the man and woman in the Camry, who also were killed in the crash.

Dymiotis' vehicle was pushed about 90 feet before coming to rest. Witnesses removed the driver from the Camry before it became engulfed in flames, but its passenger trapped inside, police said.
