Investigators were trying yesterday to determine the identities of two people killed Tuesday night in a mobile home fire in Ocean City.

Firefighters were called to the home in the Sundowner Trailer Park, in the 100 block of 135th St., about 11:30 p.m., said Pfc. Barry Neeb, a city police spokesman. Heavy smoke and flames initially kept firefighters from entering the home, where they later found the bodies of two badly burned adults in a bedroom.

Neeb said a space heater was found in the trailer, but the Ocean City fire marshal's office, which is investigating, had not determined the cause of the fire.

Two other trailers were slightly damaged.

The bodies were taken to the state medical examiner's office in Baltimore for autopsies.
