No. 4 Johns Hopkins (2-1)

Coming up -- vs. No. 18 Hofstra, Saturday, noon

Comment -- The Midshipmen have outscored opponents 20-5 in the sec ond half and are holding them to 19.2 percent shooting overall. Fri day's 19-8 trouncing of North Caroli na marked their most goals scored against a ranked team in 17 years.

No. 10 Maryland (2-2)

No. 11 Towson (2-0)

Coming up -- vs. No. 10 Maryland, Saturday, 1 p.m.

No. 19 UMBC (2-2)

No. 20 Loyola (1-2)

Coming up -- vs. No. 1 Duke at Uni versity of San Diego, Saturday, 9:30 p.m.

Comment -- Coming off a dramatic 10-9 win at Penn State, the Grey hounds are taking much-needed con fidence out west. Junior attackman Shane Koppens (four goals, team-high eight assists) has come back strong from a wrist injury.

Mount St. Mary's (0-1)
