Nutrition help at area stores

The county Department of Health's Learn to Live Program will offer "Good Food for Good Health" weekends at local supermarkets this month at the following locations:

Program offers growth fitness

Hospice of the Chesapeake and Ridgely Retreat are offering a personal growth fitness program.

"Nia for Healing" combines Eastern and Western movements and philosophies.

Nia is well-suited for people who are grieving. It is self-paced and no dance or movement experience is needed.

The Nia sessions will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 22, May 20 and June 10 at Ridgely Retreat, 203 Ridgely Ave. in Annapolis.

The registration fee is $10.

Hospice offers grief support

Hospice of the Chesapeake's Spiritual and Bereavement Care Center is offering a 10-week support group for people ages 18 and over who are grieving after the death of a loved one as a result of suicide.

The group will meet from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays tomorrow through May 10 at Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway in Annapolis.
