St. Martin's presents Arioso Trio tonight

St. Martin's Lutheran Church will present the Arioso Trio as a part of its 2006-2007 concert series at 7:30 p.m. today at 1120 Spa Road, Annapolis.

The trio is made up of oboist Leah Moss, clarinetist Noelle Presby-Lipa and bassoonist Kari Shea.

There is a suggested donation of $8.

Tiernan to perform in Pasadena

WRBS morning show personality Tracey Tiernan will sing, play guitar and offer an inspirational message to women at Chesapeake Christian Center, 206 Weston Woods Drive in Pasadena, at 6 p.m. tomorrow.

Weekly yard sale set at St. Andrew's

St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 4 Wallace Manor Road, Edgewater, will hold its weekly indoor yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow.

Spaces are $15 for a 10-by-10 foot space, and $5 for tables.

Chesapeake Chorale show is tomorrow

The Chesapeake Chorale will present Humoresque! at 8 p.m. tomorrow at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, 14900 Annapolis Road, Bowie.

Grace Baptist announces events

Sermons to focus on the storms of life

Oakwood Wesleyan Church will have the "Weathering the Storms of Life" sermon series at 11 a.m. services on Sundays through March 18 at 505 Oakwood Station Road, Glen Burnie.

The pastor is Ken Clendaniel and the topics of the series will be as follow: Sunday, "The Intense Darkness of Loss"; March 11,"The Thunderclaps of Relations Problems"; and March 18, "The Flood Waters of Despair."

St. Athanasius dinner is March 11

St. Athanasius Catholic Church will sponsor an oyster and ham buffet dinner from noon to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. March 11 at the rectory, 4708 Prudence St., Brooklyn.

Advance tickets are $20 for adults, $6 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children younger than 5. The cost for carryout is $20.

Woman's Club sets prayer breakfast

The GFWC Woman's Club of Linthicum Heights will hold its 30th annual ecumenical Prayer Breakfast at 9:30 a.m. March 14 at the Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church, 200 School Lane.

The Rev. Steve Hall will be the speaker, and vocalist Theresa Fries, pianist Bernie Simon and flutist Susan March will perform.

The proceeds will benefit Sarah's House, the Fouse Center and I Can.

A feast planned for St. Patrick's Day

A St. Patrick's Day dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. March 17 at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer to raise funds for Arundel Habitat for Humanity.
