That1Guy

The lowdown -- Mike Silverman's moniker, That1Guy, gives a great indication of what this musician is all about. Silverman is a one-man show with only one standout instrument - the Magic Pipe, a steel pipe molded to resemble the outline of a harp. Catch his show at the 8x10 tomorrow night.

The lowdown -- As a comedic singer and songwriter whose 10-year career was initially inspired by This Is Spinal Tap, Stephen Lynch still has plenty to offer. He taped one of the highest-rated Comedy Central Presents specials and recently starred as Robbie Hart in the Broadway version of The Wedding Singer. Catch Lynch in his latest tour at Shriver Hall tomorrow night.

Getting the Business

The lowdown -- Tomorrow night, join Baltimore rock 'n' rollers J. Roddy Walston and the Business at the Ottobar as they celebrate the release of their first full-length album, Hail Mega Boys. Peelander-Z, Bebes D'oeufs (Egg Babies) and the Milwaukees are also playing.

Purim at the Patterson

The lowdown -- This Purim holiday, make Haman, villain of the Purim story of Esther, roll in his grave. On Saturday, the Creative Alliance at the Patterson is hosting a night of singing, dancing and a lot of cursing, with a performance by Baltimore's own Klezzazz, a lesson on the latest Yiddish dance moves and a Purim spiel.
