The recent tornado in New Orleans has Rhonda Brown wondering whether her home town - Baltimore - has ever had one: "If so, when and where and how much damage did it do?" It has. One that comes to mind was a weak F-0 in Northwest Baltimore on July 19, 1996. Damage was minor, overshadowed by news of a ferocious F-3 storm the same day in Carroll County that demolished dozens of homes. That year saw 20 tornadoes in Maryland, including an F-1 that tore up Dundalk on Nov. 8.
