BCCC names head of human resources

Baltimore City Community College President Carolane Williams has named Lexsee Waterford as the college's new executive director of human resources.

Waterford -- who took the position Feb. 12 -- was most recently executive director of human resources for a high school district in the Denver area. She also has worked for the U.S. Postal Service, a Denver-area construction services company and AT&T, and as a corporate consultant, according to college officials. Waterford has also worked in education with hearing-impaired children.

Waterford will oversee human resources for the 450 employees of the college.
