THE ASTRONAUT FARMER

Rating -- PG

What it's about -- A rancher dreams of spaceflight, and his family tries to help him make that happen.

The Kid Attractor Factor -- A somewhat wacky take on government and what it takes to get into space.

Good lessons/bad lessons -- Dare to dream, aim high, etc.

Violence -- Rockets go awry.

Language -- Pretty clean.

Sex -- None.

Drugs -- None.

Parents advisory -- A family movie about dreaming as dysfunction, it's probably too heavy for younger kids.

Reno 911! Miami

Rating -- R

What it's about -- Incompetent cops go to Miami to party and wind up dealing with real crime, along with their personal "issues."

The Kid Attractor Factor -- Raunchy, juvenile humor, topless beachgoers.

Good lessons/bad lessons -- A real learning experience, if your child wants to grow up to be a stripper or a proctologist.

Violence -- Comic, but bloody.

Language -- Profanity.

Sex -- Yes, with nudity, too.

Drugs -- Most certainly.

Parents advisory -- If you're letting them stay up to watch the cable show, you have some explaining to do. This is the less-censored version of that.
