ROCH AROUND THE CLOCK

February 22, 2007|By ROCH KUBATKO

You should have seen Chad Bradford throwing batting practice yesterday. That submarine-style led to some ugly swings from Nick Markakis.

"I know when he was with Oakland, I hated to see him come in," Orioles manager Sam Perlozzo said. "He's one of those guys that you take a comfortable 0-for, you go back to the dugout shaking your head. We just hope that he does that for us."

Once again, Miguel Tejada stayed on the field long after the workout ended, this time running up the bleachers as part of his fitness training.

Meanwhile, I worked up a sweat walking from the clubhouse to the media room.
