Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Burglary -- Fifty compact discs, an iPod, computer equipment and video games - all valued at nearly $5,000 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1900 block of Light St. by someone who entered through a window.

Burglary -- Someone broke into JR's Bar & Grill in the 1200 block of Hull St. early Wednesday and stole $70 in coins.

Theft -- While a motorist left his car unattended in the 1100 block of Cleveland St. on Tuesday, someone stole a cell phone that he left on the car's roof. It was valued at $150.

Theft -- Several compact discs and a cell phone charger were stolen Tuesday from a 2005 Toyota parked in the 100 block of S. Stricker St.

Robbery -- A 54-year-old man was walking along East Patapsco Avenue near Seventh Street about 5 p.m. Tuesday when he was assaulted by a man who robbed him of his cell phone and a wallet containing $60.


Stolen vehicle -- A 2001 Ford Explorer with tags 863M403 was stolen Wednesday in the 1500 block of Madison Ave.

Theft -- A laptop computer and a wallet containing cash - all valued at more than $1,500 - were stolen Wednesday from a 2000 Nissan Maxima in the 300 block of Water St.


Stolen vehicle -- A blue, four-door 1999 Saturn with tags MJP 366 and owned by a driving school, was stolen Monday in the 1500 block of Clifton Ave. The theft was reported Wednesday.

Stolen vehicle -- Police were seeking a red 1997 Ford Crown Victoria with tags 1BJ 680 that was stolen Wednesday in the 1400 block of Edmondson Ave.

Theft -- Someone broke into a parked 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck Wednesday in the 200 block of N. Calhoun St. and stole a digital video disc player and a set of headphones. The property was valued at $1,500.

Robbery -- Police were seeking two teenage males, each armed with a handgun, who assaulted a 17-year-old boy walking in the 1400 block of N. Bentalou St. about 10 p.m. Tuesday and robbed him of his boots, a cell phone and a wallet containing $30.

Bank robbery -- A man robbed Point Breeze Bank in the first block of Philadelphia Court of an undisclosed sum of money about 3 p.m. yesterday. Details of the holdup were not available.


Robbery/arrests -- A man and a woman were arrested early Wednesday and charged with forcibly entering a house in the 1400 block of Second Road and robbing the occupants of several pieces of clothing. Police said a couple broke into the house about 11 p.m. Tuesday and that one of them retrieved a knife from the kitchen and threatened the occupants while demanding clothing. The robbers were known to the residents, police said. Early Wednesday, police arrested Daniel Heinle, 25, at his home in the first block of Gumwood Road, and Shannon Finnerty, 33, at her home in the 700 block of Kingston Road. Both were charged with armed robbery, burglary and assault. Police said Heinle was released on $50,000 bail and that Finnerty was being held at the county Detention Center in Towson, also on $50,000 bail.
