Janet L. Sullivan, a retired civilian employee of the Army's Military Traffic Management Command and avid traveler, died of cancer Thursday at her Dundalk home. She was 75.

Janet Lorraine Stallings was born in Baltimore, raised in Pikesville and graduated from Seton High School.

In 1950, she married Eugene Scott Sullivan and moved to Logan Village in Dundalk. Mr. Sullivan, a truck driver, died in 1998.

After raising her two sons, Mrs. Sullivan earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Baltimore. For a decade, until she retired in 1994, she was a traffic coordinator with the Military Traffic Management Command at Dundalk Marine Terminal.

Mrs. Sullivan was a world traveler whose experiences included whitewater rafting, archaeological digs and hot-air ballooning. She also enjoyed playing the piano and organ, and karaoke.

She was a communicant of St. Rita Roman Catholic Church, where her funeral Mass was offered Saturday.

Surviving are sons Daniel Lee Sullivan of Dundalk and Michael B. Sullivan of Jerome, Ariz.; a sister, Jean White of Loudoun County, Va.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
