Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Homicide victim named -- Police yesterday named Alusine Kamara, 26, of Silver Spring as the man who was fatally shot early Sunday while he, his brother, Ansumana Kamara, 24, and Mustapha Aruna, 26, also from Silver Spring, were wounded in an alley in the 1800 block of W. Baltimore St. Ansumana was reported in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Police said Aruna was shot in a leg, but keys in his pants pocket took the brunt of the bullet.


Theft -- Someone entered a room at Patterson-Asbury AME Zion Church in the 2200 block of Division St. Sunday afternoon and stole two speakers worth a total of $318.


Theft -- An in-dash radio was stolen over the weekend from a 2002 Mazda parked in the 1100 block of Covington St.


Stabbing/arrest -- Conswelo Walker, 28, of the 5200 block of Belair Road, was arrested yesterday in the 2600 block of E. Northwern Parkway by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging her with attempted murder. Walker is accused of stabbing a 31-year-old woman Jan. 1 in the 5300 block of Frankford Ave.

Arrest -- A Washington man stopped for a minor traffic violation on southbound Interstate 95 near Moravia Road on Saturday was arrested and charged with possession of counterfeit DVDs, CDs, designer purses and clothing. Held at Central Booking and Intake Center was Keith Douglas Long, 45. The bogus items had a street value of $33,260 and were found after a drug-sniffing dog alerted its handler to a trace of marijuana in the car, according to Maryland Transportation Authority Police. No drug charge was lodged, however.


Armed robbery -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed a High's store in the 6100 block of Holabird Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 9:40 p.m. Sunday.

Baltimore County


Robbery try/assault -- Police were seeking two men, one armed with a handgun, who forced their way into a dwelling at Bentley Park Apartments in the 400 block of Valley Meadow Circle about 11 p.m. Sunday and demanded money from a man, 24, and a woman, 23. The intruders fled without property or money after the male occupant was struck with the gun and fell into the hallway.


Robbery -- A man who implied having a handgun robbed a High's store in the 5300 block of East Drive in Arbutus of an undisclosed sum of money about 5:15 a.m. Sunday.

Robbery -- A deliveryman for Papa John's Pizza was returning to his car in the 100 block of Nunnery Lane about 8 p.m. Sunday when three men, one with a handgun, robbed him of about $100, a cell phone, his keys and his green 1995 Toyota Camry with tags KFT 482.

Arson -- A 2004 Nissan Xtera that was stolen Saturday or early Sunday in the 5000 block of Belleville Ave. in Baltimore was found engulfed in flames about 5 a.m. Sunday, parked in the 200 block of Preston Court in Catonsville.
