An article in the Today section yesterday incorrectly characterized Senator Theatre owner Tom Kiefaber's attitude toward expanding his theater. While he opposes altering the theater's historic structure, he has had plans drawn up to add movie screens by expanding onto property he has purchased behind the building.

An article about the Preservation Hall Jazz Band in the Today section yesterday identified the wrong Doc Watson as a musician displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Ernest "Doc" Watson plays the tenor saxophone, is in his 70s and has not been awarded the National Medal of Arts.

In the Sports section yesterday, an article about high school senior athletes planning to sign national letters of intent gave the wrong school for Hereford's Les Delmont. He plans to accept a football scholarship to Elizabeth City (N.C.) State University.

A photo caption on Page 1A yesterday accompanying an article about a seniors' breakfast club misidentified the man seated at the far left of the group. He was Bill Ceresa.

WMAR-TV is an ABC television network affiliate. An item in the Moving Up portion of yesterday's Business section listed an incorrect affiliation.

An article on Page 1A Wednesday incorrectly reported the percentage of the vote that Democrat John Kerry won in Maryland in the 2004 presidential election. Kerry received about 56 percent of the vote.
