Philadelphia -- If the Blast totally rebounds from a slump to reach the playoffs and contend for another Major Indoor Soccer League championship, you can date its resurgence to the first weekend in February.

Two games under .500 and facing consecutive meetings with the league-leading Philadelphia KiXX, the team responded with two big victories to launch what could be a strong finishing kick.
