Two inmates stabbed in fight

Two inmates were treated at hospitals after being stabbed during a fight at the Maryland House of Corrections in Jessup yesterday morning, a Division of Corrections spokesman said. The men were attacked by three inmates using homemade weapons about 3:45 a.m. One of the men was stabbed in the head and flown to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was treated and released, Gregory said. The other man was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated and released.

Bodies found in Va. are missing teens

Relatives have identified the bodies found in a car in a remote area of Virginia as two teenage girls from Montgomery County who disappeared two weeks ago, police said. The bodies of Rachel Smith, 16, of North Potomac and Rachel Crites, 18, of Gaithersburg were found Friday in a dark blue Subaru Outback in Loudoun County, Va., near the West Virginia border, said Kraig Troxell, a spokesman for the Loudoun County sheriff's office. Autopsies are scheduled tomorrow.
