St. Andrew's to hold yard sale tomorrow

St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 4 Wallace Manor Road, Edgewater, will hold its weekly indoor yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow.

Spaces are $10 for a 10-by-10 foot space, and $5 for tables.

SOUP-er Bowl fundraiser is Sunday

Heritage Baptist Church will hold its SOUP-er Bowl fundraiser after the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service in the fellowship hall at 1740 Forest Drive, Annapolis.

This event will feature soups, chili, salads, desserts.

The event is free, but donations will be accepted. The proceeds will benefit the Annapolis Light House Shelter for the homeless.

Grace Baptist announces activities

Grace Baptist Church of Sunset Beach will hold the following events this month, at 17 Somerset Road, Pasadena:

The Brotherhood Breakfast will be at 8 a.m. Sunday. This event will focus on male fellowship.

A free movie night will begin at 7 on Feb. 9. Facing the Giants will be featured.

Masterlife I: Bible Study will be on Sundays at 6 p.m. beginning Feb. 25. The theme will be The Disciple's Cross. The cost is $9.95, and registration is required.

Jazz concert set for Sunday

St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and Day School will present a jazz concert at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at 4 Wallace Manor Road, Edgewater.

There will be a pre-concert lecture and a presentation by jazz saxophonist Cam Collins of the Naval Academy Band and Mike Noonan of the Unified Jazz Ensemble.

The cost of $15 is tax-deductible.

Spiritual healing is focus of meeting

The Christian Science Society will hold its monthly meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday and every Sunday at 101 First Ave., SE, Glen Burnie.

The focus will be a spiritual approach to health and healing.

Praise, worship to focus on youth

New Life Church Youth Ministry will hold a youth praise and worship event at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 10 at New Life Church, 7521 Connelley Drive, Hanover.

This event will feature several local youth dance groups, drama teams, singers and choirs.

Bingo blast is set for Feb. 11

The Church of the Good Shepherd will hold a "bingo blast" at 2 p.m. Feb. 11 at 1451 Furnace Ave., Glen Burnie.

A roast pork platter, coffee, sodas and cards are included for a donation of $20.

Shrove Tuesday supper is Feb. 20

Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer will have a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper and game night from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Feb. 20 at 7606 Quarterfield Road, Glen Burnie.

The cost will be $4 for adults, $1.50 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children younger than 5.

Proceeds will benefit the North County Emergency Outreach Network.

Women's retreat planned for March

Community of Christian Women, Inc. will host its annual Women's Faith Retreat from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. March 23 and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 24 at the BWI Marriott Hotel, 1743 W. Nursery Road, Baltimore.
